This position is located in Field Operations Directorate, Office of Field Operations, DISTRICT 23.
As a Management and Program Analyst, you will conduct and lead diverse and unique projects to improve the performance of the District's subordinate Field Offices and to balance and equitably distribute the workload in those Field Offices.
Duties
Evaluates business management practices and operations and makes recommendations to promote efficiency; Organizes data sets and produces analyses to optimize business operations.
Analyzes facts of a data request or data pull and assembles the data using mathematical, statistical, and qualitative methodologies.
Performs a variety of analytical studies and projects related to management improvement, productivity improvement, management controls, and long-range planning.
Effectively communicates analytical results and technical methods and constraints to both technical and nontechnical audiences, especially in cases where data may limit rigor or analytical methods produce uncertain results.
Leads data collection and integrity efforts to support performing statistical analysis, developing methodologies and analytics products on agency workload and staffing.
Uses analytic tools such as Tableau, Advance Excel, and SQL to combine, analyze, and interpret very large and complex datasets to perform exploratory analyses and develop data-informed organizational solutions.

This position is with the United States Citizenship and Immigrations Services located in the Field Operations Directorate located in District S23 in sunny Tampa, Fl. Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 11/02/2023.
GS-13: In addition to the requirements at the lower grade level(s), you qualify at the GS-13 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-12 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive operating systems and/or programs that required applying knowledge of qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques.
Performing a variety of analytical studies and projects related to management improvement, productivity improvement, management controls, and long-range planning.
Providing recommendations to parties dealing with various management levels throughout an agency or organization.
Resolving broad and/or complex problems and issues associated with the planning, coordination, and implementation of agency programs and activities.
