About the Position: Serve as the Senior Project Manager and Data Steward for the Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), G-3/5/7, Directorate of Strategic Operations (DAMO-SO) in support of the Warfighting Mission Area.
Duties
Serve as the Senior Project Manager and Data Steward for the Headquarters Department of Army (HQDA), G-3/5/7, Directorate of Strategic Operations (DAMO-SO) in support of the Warfighting Mission Area.
Develop requirements-based capabilities, focusing on the creation and maintenance of authoritative datasets by ensuring proper alignment of administrative data within authoritative defense systems.
Review higher authority directives that require management decision and provide detailed analysis that supports senior leader decisions.
Consults with mission area leadership/subject matter experts to collect, collate, analyze program /operations data.
Provides oversight to a subordinate staff concerning Data within the Warfighting Mission area and Civilian Harm Mitigation and Response (CHMR) objectives, business system integration, and data/digital transformation.
Advises management on effective use of available resources and represents the Directorate on senior resource prioritization and execution review committees.

GS 15 Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying data engineering concepts and factors, such as: structured design, supportability, survivability, reliability, scalability, and maintainability, to ensure that the Data Management Platform objective is optimized; developing guidelines for the application of data modeling practices; creating and instituting innovative solutions to complex problems. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-14).
