About the Position: This is a permanent position with HQ USA Training Center and Fort Jackson Office of the Chief of Staff.
Duties
Develop guidance on adminstrative techniques and methods improvements.
Use initiative, discretion, judgment and in-depth knowledge of SHARP program priorities.
Plan, execute/coordinate and evaluate prevention activities (policies, programs and practices), training, education, and outreach for sexualharassment and sexual assault.
Support the coordination and implementation of comprehensive primary prevention activities that address individual, interpersonal, organizational and community factorsthat contribute to sexual harassment and sexual assault.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires incumbent to obtain and maintain a SECRET security clearance.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) is required approximately 10% of the time.
- Position requires working overtime on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and have the ability to operate a motor vehicle.
- This position has been designated "Mission Essential".
- Incumbent is required to successfully complete OSD and/or Army-level prevention training course and completion of all requirements within 90 days of being in the position.
- Background checks will be conducted against all records as required by law, OPM, DoD, and Army policy and regulation; AND will be conducted, prior to entering on duty, IAW governing regulations, on a recurring basis while employed in the position.
- Must submit a State Criminal History Repository (SCHR) Check for all states of residence in the previous 5-10 years. All information provided is subject to investigation, including a check of your fingerprints, police records and former employers.

BASIC requirement:
A. Degree: Bachelor's degree or higher degree in behavioral or social science, or related disciplines appropriate to the position, such as Psychology, Counseling, or Human Services.(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

B. Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field. (Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

C. Experience: Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes planning, execution/coordination and evaluation of prevention activities (policies, programs and practices), training, education, and outreach for sexual harassment and sexual assault; responsible for supporting the coordination and implementation of comprehensive primary prevention activities that address individual, interpersonal, organizational and community factors that contribute to sexual harassment and sexual assault. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
