Duties
The Force Resilience Office (FRO) Program Specialist integrates internal and external program and policy issues in establishing goals and priorities.
Plan, direct, and implement DHA Resiliency Programs such as DEIA, Anti-Harassment, and Workplace Violence Prevention and Response programs.
Review laws, regulations, policies, executive orders, and relevant judicial and administrative decisions to ensure the development, implementation, enforcement, and evaluation of the DHA's Resiliency Programs.
Identify new requirements and develop alternative organizational and management concepts to satisfy changing needs in a dynamic evolving environment for programs.
Develop, recommend, monitor, and advise on policies and services pertaining to resiliency programs.
Advise leadership on matters concerning effective and efficient policies and procedures related primarily to resiliency programs and initiatives.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Incumbent Must obtain, maintain, and renew credentialing as required by the DoD Board of Prevention Credentialing or DoD D-SAACP Credentialing specified in DoD policy.

Basic Requirements for Force Resiliency Program Specialist GS-301-12:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting with planning and implementing Anti-Harassment prevention and response and Military Equal Opportunity (MEO) programs; aiding in the development of resilience programs; and developing/maintaining educational tools and printed material. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
