This National Guard position is for an INTEGRATED PRIMARY PREVENTION OFFICER (PREV WF) (Title 32) PD Number NGD2639P01 and is part of JFHQ Special Staff. This is a Title 32, Dual-Status position.

Duties
As an INTEGRATED PRIMARY PREVENTION OFFICER (PREV WF), GS-0101-13, you will:
This position is located in The Adjutant General's Special Staff within JFHQ-STATE. This position serves as the Director of the Integrated Primary Prevention (IPP) Program. Responsible for the overall management, guidance, development, implementation and maintenance for the primary prevention of harm and other prohibited abuse and harmful acts. The IPP Director creates the homogenous link between stand-alone programs. Develops command guidance to implement an IPP program to improve personal resilience, connectedness, and well-being and enhance work/life balance for Service members and families.

- May be required to successfully complete a probationary period.

Qualifications
NATIONAL GUARD MEMBERSHIP IS REQUIRED: This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the National Guard. Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform. Acceptance of an excepted service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Officer: CPT to LTC are eligible to apply. Military grade inversion within the full-time work force is not permitted. The military grade of the full time supervisor must equal or exceed the military grade of personnel supervised.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Degree: behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences.
OR
Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field that included at least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences.
OR
Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 36 months experience, education or training analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, gathering pertinent data and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluating objectives and develop plans to facilitate the availability and effective utilization of various social science resources. Must have knowledge of the organization and its mission and utilized the organizational staff procedures. Experience applying analytical and evaluative techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of social science program operations carried out by administrative or professional personnel, or substantive administrative support functions.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge and experience in the organization, management, and administration of programs and services to develop and administer Primary Prevention policies; ensure policy relates to applicable legislation, official policy and guidance to effectively direct, plan, develop and execute the Primary Prevention Program.
Knowledge of analytical techniques to identify, analyze and/or recommend solutions to problems encountered and to develop Statistical data and narrative reports to senior levels of leadership.
Skill in oral and written communication to include report writing and maintaining proper records to document services provided.
Knowledge of and skill in planning, conducting and evaluating the State Primary Prevention training programs.
