This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent serves as an IT Specialist (ENTARCH /SYSANALYSIS) for JS J6, DD C5I, AID, Architecture Analysis and Information Sharing Branch. The incumbent reports directly to the Branch Chief in the performance of assigned duties.
Duties

As a IT SPECIALIST (ENTARCH/SYSANALYSIS) at the GS-2210-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Works with other architects and analysts in gathering Command and Control (C2), Information Enterprise (IE) and Cyber (including Cybersecurity) architectures and data, conducting analysis and making recommendations regarding system and service capability requirements related to the capability development process;
Analyzes system/service specifications and architectures to determine impact on system/service functions, feasibility, and interaction, interrelationship, integration and interoperability with other services, systems, and subsystems;
Analyzes technical Joint C2, IE and Cyber capability development documentation and develops analysis reports, technical documentation, architectures and related data to include processes, information, data, standards and measures;
Develop white papers on areas of responsibility including architecture analysis and development and other related topics;
Participates in specific ad hoc projects, special studies and/or continuing programs that support the Joint Staff, the acquisition community as well as Combatant Command/Service/Agency capability development.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-12 , if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service as listed below:
Applies DoD architecture frameworks (DoDAF), tools, concepts, standards and practices in the analyzation and development of Command and Control (C2), Information Enterprise (IE) and Cyber architectures;
Plans, coordinates and develops DoDAF compliant architecture products and data to enable architecture based-analysis;
Applies IT security (Cybersecurity) principles and methods to evaluate C2, IE and Cyber capability development documents and related architectures to identify risks and provide recommendations on approaches to mitigate or eliminate potential cybersecurity problems related to architectural design or implementation of Joint warfighting capabilities;
Identifies Command and Control (C2) systems and services requirements and operations to study, monitor, investigate, evaluate, assess and make recommendations on improvement of integration and interoperability in C2, IE, and Cyber capability development documents and architectures.
