This position is part of the Office of Science - Consolidated Service Center, Department of Energy. As a Supervisory Grants Management Specialist, you will be serving as a team lead with responsibility for all financial assistance instruments under their leadership to assure that all work is accomplished within the DOE, SC-CSC, and financial assistance policy guidelines, established timeframes and regulatory restraints.

- Must have at least a fully successful or equivalent performance rating for the most recently completed rating cycle to receive further consideration for this position.
- Certification in Financial Assistance Level III is required and a minimum of 4 years of financial assistance experience is required to obtain Contracting Officer Warrant Level III
Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting 4 out of 5 of the following statements:
Providing technical leadership to procurement staff and program offices during solicitations (Funding Opportunity Announcements) and pre and post-award negotiations; OR
Applying laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and methods governing the administration of Federal grants and cooperative agreements; OR
Monitoring and reporting on the status and progress of work assigned to the team, checking on work in progress, and reviewing completed work, ensuring deadlines have been met; OR
Negotiating award terms and conditions (including special provisions), intellectual property provisions, cost/price issues (including indirect cost related matters), proprietary information, and cost-sharing arrangements; OR
Exhibiting daily leadership in guiding others to ensure work is carried out in accordance with standards of quantity and quality.
