About the Position: The Dallas MEPS is one of a network of 65 MEPS located nationwide and in Puerto Rico. The mission of USMEPCOM and the Dallas MEPS is to process individuals for enlistment or induction into the armed services, based on DoD-approved peacetime and mobilization standards.

Duties

Serve as the Executive Director to the Battalion Commander of a Military Entrance Processing Battalion. Work closely with the Senior Enlisted Advisor to advise the BN Commander. Assume certain delegated command authorities prescribed by the BN Commander. Supervise on the integration of risk management for the battalion staff.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Position may require work on occasional Saturdays, on call and overtime work in support of mission requirements.
• Position may require Temporary Duty (TDY) business travel in support of mission requirements up to 35% of the time.
• One-year supervisory probationary period may be required.
