You will serve as a RECORDS MANAGMENT SPECIALIST in the Administrative Office of NSTC GREAT LAKES. GS-09 PAY TABLE = $63,633 to $82,720 GS-07 PAY TABLE = $52,022 to $67,628

Duties

You will coordinate the development and implementation of the NSTC domain Records Management program which includes but not limited to records creation, maintenance, use and disposition. You will manage the transition of the NSTC Domain records maintenance program to updated Electronic Records Management Applications as required by the Department of the Navy. You will conduct inspections on subordinate commands in support of the NSTC Inspector General Command Inspection Program as required. You will coordinate and provides Records Management training to NSTC personnel including those at subordinate activities. You will compose or types a variety of Naval and business letters, memoranda, directives, statistical and narrative reports, endorsement, messages and forms, utilizing a computer, as appropriate.

Qualifications

FOR GS-09 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Coordinating the development and implementation of a records management program to include records creation, maintenance, use and disposition. 2) Providing technical and administrative support for directives management, analyzing directives and recommending appropriate corrective actions as needed. 3) Creating and reviewing various correspondences and forms and managing all aspects of a mail operations. 4) Analyzing personnel processes performed and recommending improvements. FOR GS-07 your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in supporting records management and maintaining a data base. 2) Managing various instructions, notices and manuals and respond to inquiries. 3) Composing, editing and formatting a variety of business letters, memoranda, and forms in accordance with program requirements. 4) Coordinating and tracking personnel actions for staff. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

For GS-07
1 full year of graduate level education

or

superior academic achievement

For GS-09
master's or equivalent graduate degree

or

2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree.

LL.B. or J.D., if related
