About the Position: This is a Plans and Operations Specialist with US Army Training and Doctrine Command HQ Diversity Office at Fort Eustis. Fort Eustis, Virginia is located in Newport News, between historic Williamsburg and Virginia Beach. The Hampton Roads/Tidewater area has all the conveniences of a big city with charm of small town and rural areas.
Duties
Serves as a Plans and Operations Specialist in the Command Diversity Office (CDO), responsible for executing and monitoring the CDO day to day operations.
Organizes, manages, and presents information to include both formal and informal (via oral and written means) recommendations
Serves as the Command Diversity Office (CDO) Web Master utilizing web platform and software.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- PERFORM TEMPORARY DUTY (TDY) - This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) coordinating a wide range of management and administrative actions, processes, and methods between directorate and personnel; 2) evaluating support to management to ensure that Diversity and Prevention objectives and requirements are fully being met with the organization; and 3) developing visual presentations for command group requirements to appropriate directorate and ensure completion. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11 ).
