DCSA is seeking a qualified CI professional to serve as the Regional Collection Manager. In this role you will plan, develop, establish, and execute a region CI collection plan against FIE efforts to acquire classified and sensitive information or defense technology from cleared industry. This is a great opportunity for those with supervisory experience in the CI/collections field and a broad experience in CI collections, reporting, and knowledge of foreign intelligence entities tradecraft.

Duties

This position is located within the Eastern Region CI Office, Field Operations Directorate, DCSA, DoD. As a SUPERVISORY INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:

Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG 13 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility. Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience. Specialized experience for this position includes: Counterintelligence and operations cycle, requirements management, collection management, and asset management; Concepts, principles, practices, and techniques associated with intelligence, counterintelligence, law enforcement, human collection, and related disciplines; Terminology, methodology, and intelligence collection techniques; Communicate complex ideas orally and in writing, as well as the ability to gain acceptance of or agreement on controversial recommendations arising from CI activities. Specifically you will be evaluated on the following competencies: 1. Accountability Holds self and others accountable for measurable high-quality, timely, and cost-effective results. Problem Solving Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. 5. Technical Competence Uses knowledge that is acquired through formal training or extensive on-the-job experience to perform one's job; works with, understands, and evaluates technical information related to the job; advises others on technical issues.
