About the Position: The position is located within the AMCOM Logistics Center, Missiles Directorate.
Duties
Monitor and coordinate maintenance functions for assigned systems and/or associated system equipment.
Develop time frame schedules for distribution of the assigned equipment and for all maintenance support planning.
Monitor and coordinate material management aspects of assigned systems and/or similar equipment to ensure logistics support.
Monitor materiel readiness posture of assigned systems and assures positive action is taken to maintain weapon system readiness.
Perform analysis of logistics support requirements to ensure comprehensive system support.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- This position requires Level II certification in the acquisition career field of Life Cycle Logistics within 24 months of occupying the position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes integrating and coordinating several separate logistics functions throughout the life cycle of weapons systems/equipment, developing support plans based on the specific requirements of the systems/equipment, and performing tasks associated with maintenance of supply systems readiness and management of material and equipment. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
