About the Position: This is a DoD Civilian Acquisition Workforce Personnel Demonstration Project (AcqDemo) position in the NH-04 broadband with an advertised pay range from the lowest equivalent GS grade 14 Step 1 to the highest equivalent GS 15 grade step 10 in the broadband.
Duties
Serve as the Talent Management Executive and expert advisor to the Joint Program Executive Officer (JPEO).
Responsible for setting the vision and strategy of acquisition workforce development for the JPEO A and A and other organizations.
Responsible for the Senior Service College Fellowship (SSC-F) program which includes securing funding and developing and/or adapting processes from other SSC-F sites.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One-year probationary period may be required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Selectees must meet position requirements for certification at Practitioner in the Acquisition Career Field (Program Management) within 60 months of entrance on duty.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as performing ALL of the following duties: 1) Providing briefing to senior leadership regarding the alignment of talent management initiatives and processes; 2) assisting the development of curriculum with coordination of the Defense Acquisition University (DAU); 3) Recommending methods to achieve Army acquisition goals.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (NH-03 or GS-13).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent NH-03 or GS-13.
