About the Position: Incumbent serves as the primary Strategic Planner and Congressional Liaison for the District.

Duties
Organizes, coordinates, supervises, and controls the life- cycle activities involved in a broad range of project assignments.
Exerts primary leadership in managing and executing the District OPLAN, serving on and working with the Corporate Board, and, is vital to the entire customer survey process.
Prepares briefings, and administrative support for the Commander in conjunction with the District staff.
Independently leads overall efforts for strategies to develop OPLAN and alignment with the Division.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Requires travel up to 10% of the time.
- Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

GS-12: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in project/program scheduling AND providing project analysis and reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
GS-13: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience in the leadership of project teams AND experience drafting official correspondence to governmental officials(local/tribal/state/federal). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
