You will serve as a Secretary in the ???????Chemistry Division of the NAVAL RESEARCH LABORATORY.
Duties
You will manage the office of the Division Head by providing direct secretarial, administrative, and clerical support to the Division Head.
You will review all outgoing correspondence for proper format, correct grammatical content, and ascertains that established policy has been followed.
You will read all incoming correspondence, determines proper action and routes to responsible office or individual.
You will organize and maintains division files (digital and/or paper), classified materials, records and logs.
You will assist the division in preparing and formatting documents, correspondence, and reports for routing and signature, and creates fillable forms where necessary to improve division office function.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-01/04) or pay band (NC-01) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: (1) utilizing office automation equipment and processes; (2) performing administrative and clerical duties i.e filing, answering phone calls, making appointments; (3) generating reports, typing and ensuring grammatical correctness of correspondence and ensuring proper routing procedures are followed; (4) providing assistance to others through customer service in an office/business setting; (5) maintaining calendars

Education
In lieu of general/specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
successfully completed at least four full academic years of education above high school.
A combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent
