About the Position: Serve as the organization coordinator for all travel associated with the Aviation Resource Management Survey (ARMS) Inspections for all individuals throughout OSA-A and State Army National Guard organizations when supporting ARMS and assists with submission of the Standardization Division budget submitted annually to higher headquarters as well as other office management tasks.
Duties
Serve as the coordinator for all travel associated with the Aviation Resource Management Survey Inspections and assist with submission of the Standardization Division budget submitted annually to higher headquarters.
Conduct research to obtain background information relative to each action/tasker through use of automated databases, review of previous or ongoing studies on the same or related subjects and searching of historical files.
Responsible for maintaining an automated suspense tracking system for all tasking actions.
Review, edit, and prepare correspondence.
Schedule appointments and make arrangements for time, participants, and location of meetings.
Make travel arrangements for all team members, maintain an electronic list of Government travel cards, submit required documentation/forms for military or commercial air travel ensuring accuracy of all information.

In order to qualify, you must meet the education/ or experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes experience with military administrative processes and coordinating travel arrangements and/or travel orders (Defense Travel System experience preferred). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07).

Education Substitution: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Public Administration, English Degree (NOTE: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.)

Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07). Applicants must meet all eligibility requirements and minimum qualification requirements prescribed by OPM within 30 days of the closing date of the announcement.
