About the position: This position will be assigned to the Community Activity Center, Beale AFB, CA. This position is flexible, not guaranteed hours and does not receive benefits, but could work anywhere between 0-40 hours per week. Must be able to lift and carry items up to 40 pounds, bending, stooping, walking, standing, climbing on ladders, lifting above shoulders, inside and outside, must be able to work in excessive heat environment and cold weather.

Duties

Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities, records attendance, takes reservations and payments for room reservations, instructional classes, and special events. Notifies participants of schedule changes. Decorates facility for special events, activities, or parties. Assists in the operation of the base theater by setting up/breaking down concession, ensures concessions area is presentable and clean during operations, takes inventory, and conducts walk throughs to ensure cleanliness of facility. Stocks soda machines and checks expiration dates on food. Does light housekeeping duties. Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• This position has physical lifting requirement which requires the incumbent to complete a favorable pre-employment physical.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
• This is a drug testing position. The incumbent is subject to random drug testing.
• Must possess valid driver's license.

Education
