About the Position: This position is located at the General Leonard Wood Army Community Center in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation.

Duties

Advises the practice leadership team on civilian personnel matters. Manages daily operations of the clinic. Utilizes data from established Military Health System (MHS) and Medical Command (MEDCOM) databases. Assists in the development and implementation of effective patient care systems. Ensures staff is properly trained in all aspects of risk and safety, including infection control, environmental hazards and medication errors.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service which includes assisting with administrative policies, programs or operations related to health care delivery, Utilizing automated systems to enter and retrieve data, Extracting and analyzing data from a variety of medical information systems, and Assisting with the preparation of various data reports. OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration.(Note: You must attach a copy of your transcripts.) OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience maybe used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the second year (total graduate semester hours minus 36) by 18. Add the two percentages.
