You will serve as a PARALEGAL SPECIALIST in the Ethics Office of OFFICE OF GENERAL COUNSEL.
Duties
You will provide paralegal support for the DON-wide ethics and standards of conduct program
You will conduct independent research regarding ethics and standards of conduct issues including conflict of interest, post-Government employment restrictions, gift prohibitions, misuse of position and Government resources, financial disclosure.
You will assist with managing the DON Financial Disclosure Program. Assist in maintaining current electronic financial disclosure filing systems data and updates.
You will oversee the DON's compliance and regulatory timelines for financial disclosure report assignments, submissions and reviews.
You will draft memorandums, prepare reports and correspondence relative to assign matters.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Experience applying ethics statutes, regulations and policies and procedures pertaining to ethics and financial disclosure program management; and
Experience reviewing financial disclosure documents including Office of the General Counsel (OGC) Forms.
