You will serve as a Administrative Support Specialist in the Command Administration division of NAVAL AIR WEAPONS STATION CHINA LAKE.

Duties

You will manage, direct, and execute all military personnel support issues/requirements for the command. You will protect the Personally Identifiable Information of command personnel. You will serve as the Command Pay/Personnel Administrator. You will serve as the Records and Information Management Specialist on the staff. You will manage and direct the work of departmental military personnel. You will manage the Command Awards Program, Directives Management, and Correspondence Management. You will assist in providing a full range of advisory and analytical services to all levels of Installation Command and Staff involving budget and manpower initiatives.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assists the Administrative Officer to determine the support requirements of the various departments and develops processes to accomplish the administrative tasks as well as developing measurement data for these functions; 2) Manages the human resources essential to the direction and operation of the organization; 3) Assists in the planning of the organizational structure and advises management on a wide range of proposals, policies, and procedures which influence manpower and position management; 4) Acts as a Command Pay and Personnel Administrator(CPPA); 5) Acts as the Government Purchase Cardholder and Non-Defense Travel System Entry Agent for Defense Travel System for Command Administration; and 6) Serves as a subject matter expert in records management and assists the departments in all aspects of the records and information management program. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a master's or equivalent graduate degree OR
Successful completion of two full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a master's degree OR
I have obtained an LL.B. or J.D. that is related to the position being filled.
