You will serve as a Managaement Analyst at the GG-09 grade level responsible for developing, analyzing, and evaluating the effectiveness of organizational structures and procedures by recommending utilization of money, manpower, or material resources or performs analytical and evaluative tasks related to development and/or execution phases of specific program objectives and operations of an organization..
Duties
You will participate in the maintenance of a data base(s) for the assigned function.
You will prepare preliminary assessments in his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
You will utilize basic analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to analyze and evaluate information.
You will review, on a preliminary basis, management analyses or contributions to studies or reports prepared by other government agencies or other elements of own activity to assure conformance and consistency of own analysis to those of others.
You will make recommendations to higher grade specialists for changes/ modifications in work performed by others to insure uniformity of results of such analyses.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.
- Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS trial period requirement.
- This position may be subject to polygraph examination.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector such as:
1. Assist senior specialists in performing analytics on various sources of information to create value and to help identify and develop new strategic business opportunities.
2. Evaluate relevant material as to its importance, and extracts all significant data pertaining to the assigned subject matter.
3. Maintaining financial dashboards to communicate business metrics/value to customers and team leadership.

2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
