Incumbent serves as a management or program analyst for an organizational entity of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). Incumbent provides analysis of assigned programs/management functions and identifies actual or potential problem areas, trends, accomplishments, issues and practices.
Duties
Develops procedures, systems, and methods on a variety of management functions and activities in one or more of the following areas - organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, delegation of authority, goals and objectives, business management, financial tracking and/or information management.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
Qualifications
TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION AT THE FG-11 LEVEL, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year (52 weeks) of Specialized Experience equivalent to the FG/GS-9 or FV-F (FV-5-9) level. Specialized Experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.Specialized experience is: Preparing and managing correspondence; compiling, tracking, and analyzing information for a wide variety of programs; entering and tracking budget expenditures; purchasing and inventory management; establishing, organizing and managing files, documents, and records; providing advanced computer assistance; scheduling meetings; managing time and attendance; providing written or oral explanations of organizational policies; coordinating the implementation of new office policies and systems; and, maintaining calendars, travel records and arrangements.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their work history.Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.Please ensure you answer all questions and follow all instructions carefully.
