About the Position: HR Assistant (MIL/OA) is located at the USAJFK Special Warfare Center & School in Fort Liberty, North Carolina.

Duties

Serves as coordinator between the organization and Installation AG on all issues and matters concerning military personnel. Receives, reviews, and processes a variety of military personnel requests to include orders for hazardous duty pay, foreign language proficiency pay, attachment, MOS, TAB and reassignment. Conducts individual interviews and group briefings with students to obtain data needed to complete actions. Provide support with responsibility for monitoring, managing, reviewing, verifying, coordinating military personnel information and documents. Utilize several military personnel database systems to update, maintain, and manipulate information to ensure that most current and accurate information is available in the systems. Answers a variety of inquiries (i.e., pay, assignments, leave, housing, etc.) for customers.

Requirements

  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
