This position is located in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Administration and Management (OASAM), Business Operations Center (BOC), Division of Real and Personal Property (ORPP), Personal Property Management Office (PPMO). The PPMO has the primary responsibility to plan, coordinate and execute a wide variety of program management services regarding Personal Property and Fleet Management for the Department of Labor (DOL) nationwide.
This position is inside the bargaining unit.
Duties
For 0343-12: Duties performed will be the same as those performed at the GS-13 only with more supervision.
For 0343-13:
Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Requires a probationary period if the requirement has not been met.
- Candidate required to obtain the necessary security/investigation level.
Qualifications
For GS-12 : Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level GS-11 in the Federal Service.
For GS-13: Applicants must have 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level, GS-12 in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience is the experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform the duties of the position successfully, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level.
Qualifying specialized experience for GS-12 includes: Experience in managing Federal personal property and fleet programs at the department level; Ability to develop and recommend policies, provide problem-solving solutions to programmatic issues, and develop department training that supports both HQ and field personnel.
Qualifying specialized experience for GS-13 includes: Extensive experience in managing Federal personal property and fleet programs at the department level; Ability to develop and recommend policies, provide problem-solving solutions to programmatic issues, and develop department training that supports both Senior Leadership and departmental leads.
