Duties
You will assist the Travel Program Manager/Component Program Manager in managing the Marine Corps' Government Travel Charge Card Program (GTCCP)
You will analyze monthly delinquency statistics and publish monthly delinquency reports to field commands.
You will be responsible for GTCCP delinquency management, oversight for possible misuse/abuse, and ensure the program is meeting Department of the Navy (DON) and Department of Defense (DOD) goals.
You will assist the Travel Program Manager (PM) with day-to-day oversight of the Marine Corps Banking Program, ensuring Financial Institutions on Marine Corps Installations are operating in accordance with Department of Defense regulations.
You will develop, implement, and administer Marine Corps policy, procedures, and standardized guidelines for the GTCCP, the Marine Corps Banking Program, and other travel systems such as the Defense Travel System.
You will present new initiatives to Marine Corps, DoN, and DoD leadership in a persuasive manner that demonstrates their benefits to address/alleviate organizational barriers, competing objectives, or resource problems.
You will possess exceptional interpersonal skills to establish effective working relationship with all levels of Marine Corps management, senior officials at the DoN and DoD.
You will possess a fundamental understanding of finance operations and the process flow between the Marine Corps, DFAS, the U.S. Treasury, and the Federal Reserve Bank.
You will have knowledge of management and organizational theory, techniques to solve complex problems; ability to apply analytical, evaluative, qualitative, and quantitative methods to assess, identify, improve program performance, audit readiness.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11/12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: performance in budget analysis, performing and advising in systems of budget administration, analyzing costs and benefits of financial management, and other fiscal, accounting, or financial management duties.
