You will serve as the Department Quality Manager in the Corporate Operations Department of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, WA (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA). This position is responsible for the department's quality program evaluation and oversight to ensure continued awareness and consistent application of the approved quality systems.
Duties
You will direct the implementation of quality management principles and oversight for the Corporate Operations Department.
You will utilize management and leadership skills that includes collaboratively building and leading teams focused on technical, data driven analysis, problem solving, and continuous improvement initiatives.
You will oversee project planning, production processes, monitoring and control, and project closeout.
You will need to be familiar with cost/benefit, return on investment (ROI) analysis, and schedule/cost performance index (or equivalent).
You will lead teams of technical professionals.
You will develop innovative concepts for process management and change to improve organizational performance.
You will apply statistical tools to support technical decision-making.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band NT-04, (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Monitoring and providing oversight of a quality management program to include establishing policies and conducting assessments to determine program effectiveness.
