You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER within Program Executive Office (PEO) Integrated Warfare System (IWS).
Duties
You will oversee acquisition planning, program management, production, post-award contract administration, contract/task order, pre-contract award procurement package development, and post-contract award management tasks.
You will serve as a technical authority in shaping the acquisition of warfare systems programs and projects.
You will exhibit expert knowledge necessary for the effective implementation of financial and acquisition Navy programs.
You will oversee identification of resource requirements and development of strategies for program planning, budgeting and execution (PPBE).
You will oversee acquisition compliance (statutory/regulatory), quality assurance and acquisition internal control programs.
You will supervise, direct and assist a line capacity for managing PEO IWS acquisition oversight programs.
You will advise and support acquisition planning and strategy, creation of acquisition documentation and performance work statements, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), DD-254, and other contractual documents.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-03 pay band (or GS-13 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector developing or implementing acquisition plans, policies or strategies (e.g., program management, production, resources, post-award contract administration, contract/task orders) for a ship or weapon systems program.
