About the Position: This position is located at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.
Duties
Develop and evaluate training programs in occupational specialties or fields for single Service programs and consolidated multi-Service (Army/Navy/Air Force) programs assigned to the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC).
Maintain currency of trends in evaluation, training development, education, and human performance technology.
Participate in the organizational strategic planning process, specifically regarding multi- Service evaluation, accreditation, and affiliation activities. Manages the standardization of instructional programs and their associated documents.
Build core competencies of the Quality Assurance/Compliance team through training and technical assistance in the areas of accurate data collection and reporting.
Develop/communicate quality assurance/compliance, policies, and procedures/guidance.
Manage the accomplishment of special projects.
Requirements

Basic Requirements for Management and Program Analyst (Training Management Specialist) GS-0343-12:
Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting in the preparation of training and instructional courses, monitoring curriculum compliance, and developing program evaluation strategies. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
