About the Position: This position is located at Ft. Novosel, Alabama, home of the United States Army Aviation Center of Excellence. Fort Novosel is located in the "Wiregrass" area in Southeast Alabama, surrounded by Enterprise, Ozark and Daleville. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training. Recreation activities are abundant in the immediate and surrounding areas for family and fun.

Duties

Performs all processes required to maintain a complete record of expendable and non-expendable supplies and equipment used by the organization. Acts as the Purchasing Officer for all GPC purchases for the Combat Readiness Center. Coordinates mail distribution operations for the organization. Coordinates government transportation for the Combat Readiness Center.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle.
  • This position requires the incumbent to perform TDY up to 5% of the time.
