This position is part of the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The incumbent will be responsible for directing the activities and day-to-day management and administration for four Divisions consisting of 57 personnel and oversees the Joint Information Operations Center comprising of more than 225 personnel executing the activities for highly sensitive Integrated Joint Special Technical Operations (IJSTO) activities in support of Combatant Commands.
Duties
As a SUPERVISORY MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-15 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Represents the Deputy Director at senior level meetings and events.
Supervises planning and execution of Directorate-wide programs, including tasking authority over all Divisions in the directorate.
Evaluates performance of subordinate employees and reviews evaluations made by subordinate supervisors of other employees on work and administrative matters.
Develops briefings and reports used by the Joint Staff, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Combatant Command, and Inter-Agency leadership in support of military objectives.
Directs/coordinates efforts in the operational use of emerging classified capabilities.
Justifies and defends the directorate's internal AIS operating budget.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-14, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-15 grade level in the Federal service:
Plans and execution of compartmented military operations.
Oversees a Department of Defense (DoD) security program, tasking management, operations synchronization and administrative management of manpower.
Directs plans and execution of a budget.
Provides advice, direction, organization, disciplinary actions, and support of Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) goals over subordinate supervisors, military and civilian personnel.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
