This position is located in National Records Center, Information Management Liaison Section.
As an Immigration Services Analyst, you will provide immigration benefits support, conduct in-depth training and analysis of immigration records in response to information requests from federal and local law enforcement agencies as well as provide guidance to peer and junior ISAs. You will develop and maintain SOPs and Training aides as well as developing courses to assist in learning.
Duties
Perform a wide variety of duties that support and significantly impact the organization's operations and objectives and provide services to other Federal agencies.
Conduct section trend analysis on errors and production and provide section-wide training for new and experienced Immigration Services Analysts.
Provide timely and accurate immigration program information to USCIS and other DHS components (ICE, HSI, ERO, OFO, OBP, etc.), DOJ agencies (FBI), and consulate offices worldwide.
Conduct analyses and studies of organizations, functions, and procedures to ensure effective integration and coordination of new or existing quality assurance (QA) operations.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/23/2023.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/23/2023.

GS-12: You qualify at the GS-12 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-11 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Conducting studies, analyzing findings and making recommendations on substantive operating programs.
Conducting detailed analyses of complex functions and work processes such as production standards, workloads, and appropriate staffing levels.
Developing guidance on management evaluation techniques.
Developing manuals and directives covering the administrative aspects of field operations.
