You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST for NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY.
This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.
Duties
You will plan and develop strategic plans, policies, and procedures to achieve improvements in the organization's efficiency and effectiveness.
You will provide expert technical expertise and participate in working groups to support the development, implementation, and management of strategic plans.
You will ensure strategic deployment methodologies address the organization's key business drivers and mission priorities.
You will conduct research and analysis to gather relevant information from internal and external sources regarding the organization's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to inform the strategic planning process.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Writing, planning, and advising on the implementation of new ideas, procedures, and processes in the areas of short/long-range strategic planning, strategic development/deployment, continuing improvement initiatives, or program integration; 2) Developing organizational strategies by collaborating with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to define the vision, mission, and strategic objectives of the organization; 3) Creating, monitoring, and evaluating action plans to track the progress of strategic initiatives; and 4) Facilitating strategic discussions and workshops by organizing and participating in strategic planning sessions, workshops, and meetings to engage key stakeholders in the strategy development process.
