You will serve as a SUPPLY TECHNICIAN in the MATERIEL READINESS BRANCH, G-4 LOGISTICS of MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO.
Duties
You will handle and resolve customer complaints.
You will obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries; perform customer verifications.
You will process orders, forms, applications and requests; direct requests and unresolved issues to the supervisor; manage customers' accounts.
You will keep records of customer-interactions and transactions.
You will record details of inquiries, comments and complaints.
You will communicate and coordinate with contractor vendor representatives and other agencies and departments and follow-up on customer interactions.
You will communicate directly with customers either by telephone, electronically or face to face.
You will provide customer assistance to identify and locate supplies and material.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

Qualifications
GS-07: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-06) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing most or all of the following duties: 1) Interacting with customers to provide and process information in response to supply inquiries, concerns and requests about products and services; 2) Querying an automated supply database system to process, manage, and research customer supply requisitions; 3) Resolving supply problems, questions, or situations by applying standardized supply regulations, policies and procedures in support of supply operations; and 4) Providing guidance to customers regarding the supply process.
GS-06: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Providing customer assistance to identify and locate supplies and material; and 2) Entering supply transactions into an automated supply system.
