This position is located in the DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY (DHS), UNITED STATES COAST GUARD (USCG), DEPUTY COMMANDANT FOR MISSION SUPPORT, ASSISTANT COMMANDANT FOR ACQUISITON (CG-9), DIRECTOR OF ACQUISITION PROGRAM EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CG-93), Moorestown, NJ.
Duties
You will serve as COR on multiple major acquisition system contracts, conduct analysis and evaluation of procurement and contracting activities, and conduct post-award contracting activities to oversee and ensure compliance with the terms of contracts in accordance with US Coast Guard, Department of Homeland Security, and Federal policies, directives, and regulations.
Requirements
- Selectee will be required to possess Federal Acquisition Certification-Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Level II certification at time of hire.
- Selectee will be required to obtain and maintain a DHS Acquisition Program Management Level III certification within 12 months of hire.
- Selectee will be required to obtain and maintain Federal Acquisition Certification-Contracting Officer Representative (COR) Level III certification within 12 months of hire.
Qualifications
To be considered at the GS-13 level: Applicant must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the federal service. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work. For this position, specialized experience includes serving as a COR on major acquisition system contracts to include firm fixed price, cost plus fee contracts, time and material contracts, and labor-hour contracts and orders. Ideal candidate has experience serving as an acquisition business advisor on contract matters, has performed long-term pre-award and/or post-award functions to procure Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) engineering support and system software and components.
