Duties
You will plan, direct, organize, and supervise the work of employees involved in the life cycle management processes related to a major DOD or USMC AIS and MTS.
You will develop AIS program and budget requirements, justifications, and documentation to meet all mandatory DOD Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Financial Management regulatory requirements.
You will develop performance standards and major performance objectives with subordinate supervisors and team leaders.
You will ensure performance standards are equitable and that all subordinates receive timely performance feedback in accordance with USMC regulation and/or any application negotiated agreement, and annual performance ratings.
You will serve as a technical expert for assigned IT/ADP systems, database systems, or networking while keeping abreast of changes in policies, regulations, and directives to determine the effect on operations.
You will analyze business operations and processes to determine compliance with guidelines, procedures, and internal controls.

- This position is a designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DoD Cyber Workforce Framework role of IT Project Manager, 802 level Basic, you will be required to maintain qualifications in accordance with DON Cyber Workforce Program.
- You will participate in a continuous learning (CL) program, an annual 20 hour minimum of Cyber Workforce related continuous learning must be documented in a current individual development plan.
- Must obtain the required credentials within 12 months of appointment and maintain those credentials.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 level I within 12 months of appointment.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: supervising the work of employees involved in the life cycle management processes related to DoD, management functions and execution of the requirements of assigned systems, developing performance standards and developing individual development plans, and serving as a technical expert for assigned IT/ADP systems, databases, or networks.

Education: All academic degrees and coursework must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions
Undergraduate or Graduate Education: Degree in computer science, engineering, information science, information systems management, mathematics, operations research, statistics, or technology management or degree that provided a minimum of 24 semester hours in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.
