This position is in Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance (OECA), Office of Site Remediation Enforcement (OSRE), Policy and Program Evaluation Division (PPED), Program Evaluation and Coordination Branch (PECB). Qualifications

We are looking for at least one year of specialized experience related to this position as described below: To qualify for the GS-14 level, you need to have at least one year of full-time experience equivalent to the GS-13 level defined as providing guidance to staff regarding planning, analyses, and evaluation of program performance. Your answers to the online assessment will be used to evaluate your competencies in the following areas:  Knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods for the assessment of program efficiency and effectiveness. Knowledge of the Superfund remedial program and the cleanup element of the Resource Conservation Recovery Act. Skill in collecting and interpreting various data sets. Skill in conducting comprehensive analyses of national cleanup policy issues and activities. Skill in identifying trends or data gaps from various data sets. Skill in gathering information and data from different internal and external groups. Knowledge of the functions and jurisdiction of Federal, State, and local agencies and relationships between agencies. Ability to use current computer software programs to prepare reports from large databases. Ability to develop guidance and extensive presentations for internal and external audiences. Skill in written communication. Skill in oral communication. Skill in data visualization to present results of findings and transmission of recommendations. Ability to work with internal and external groups. Ability to collaborate and negotiate. Skill in providing advice. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
