You will serve as a Technical Project Manager in supporting Foreign Military Sales, with responsibility for managing various torpedo platforms and facilities, under the Department 30 Undersea Weapons In-Service Engineering Division at Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).

Duties

You will create, establish, and adopt general principles and policy. You will serve as the focal point for customer relationship management for assigned programs and speak for the organization in making workload commitments. You will establish work directives for budgeting and planning the technical execution of work at Keyport. You will be responsible for developing technical execution plans (budgeting and scheduling) for directing funds to specific work units. You will establish specific courses of action for how to effectively maintain and support major weapon systems to ensure foreign partners success. You will develop plans that determine course of action for the activity/agency regarding foreign military sales of weapons.

• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 pay band (GS-11/12 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Managing customer relationships and drafting work directives to ensure budgeting and planning for assigned projects.
