This position is located at Departmental Offices,Management CFO- Info Systems and CIO. As a/an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will provide direction and expert advice in a wide range of design activities, from requirements analysis through systems, application and or design specification and implementation, and the implementation and operation of Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) Systems.
Duties
As a/an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC), you will:
Provide technical expertise to the design, development, and implementation of ICAM policies and solutions to ensure information system security and to defend against unauthorized access to systems, networks, and data.
Provide technical expertise in support of Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) surrounding ICAM solutions to deliver cybersecurity tools, integration services and dashboards to help Treasury improve the security posture.
Prioritize and schedule areas to be evaluated and develop assessment criteria.
Analyze findings and develop long-range plans for security systems that minimize risks, mitigate vulnerabilities, prevent security incidents, and insure systems reliability.
Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-14, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Experience monitoring program compliance to requirements, regulations, or established performance levels.; AND
- Experience providing technical expertise to the design, development, and implementation of ICAM policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the agency and federal guidelines; AND
- Experience with developing and delivering security standards, best practices, architecture and systems to ensure information system security across the enterprise; AND
- Experience with program analysis, including the experience guiding and structuring the work of staff and understanding large quantities of information and the production of a wide variety of written materials.
In addition to specialized experience, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed
below.
