The Office of Information Technology is recruiting for an Information Technology Specialist (Applications Software Developer), GS-2210-13. As an IT Specialist, you will be a member of a dynamic team of IT professionals working on potential return in technology investment for internal systems and for PSA interface with external systems.

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, you must possess IT related experience in each of the required competencies And meet the specialized experience requirement listed below.
Competencies: You must have IT related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. Experience may be paid or unpaid experience and/or completing of specific, intensive training (for example, IT certification), as appropriate.
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
AND
Specialized Experience: To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level. Specialized experience is defined as experiencesupporting the system development, design, application programming, testing, operational support, and maintenance of an enterprise content management system. Providing technical expertise on architecture/systems tailoring for an organization mission; planning, organizing, and managing the IT requirements. Assess long and short-term IT integration and migration capabilities; and research, interpret, analyze, and apply operations and security guidance.
