About the Position: Senior Logistics Management Specialist located within AMCOM Logistics Center, Logistics Support Directorate.

Duties

Utilize principles methods for developing, scheduling, coordinating, monitoring and managing projects with resources, to including technical performance readiness. Identify and analyze problems using sound reasoning to arrive at conclusions while finding alternative solutions to complex problems to make informed decisions. Demonstrate weapon systems life cycle management concepts used to plan, develop, implement, operate, and maintain information systems. Manage assignment by ensuring that functional directorates and other supporting organizational elements plan, program, report, and execute their respective supportability elements. Responsible for the planning, acquisition, and development of aviation and missile systems’ technical publications.

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Position requires TDY 25% or more of the time.
• Required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE-450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually, in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
• This is an Acquisition Position and requires Level III certification in Acquisition Career Field -Material Maintenance Management - Life Cycle Logistics within 24 months of entry on duty.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
