The employee will work directly for the Chief of Performance Improvement and acts as the point of contact within the service. The employee will lend support to the Accreditation Team and clerical support to the Peer Review Team.
Duties
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
Acts as a point of contact for Quality Management Service.
Provide clerical and administrative support.
Maintain tracking of various administrative documentation and monitoring required for Quality Management program.
Responsible for utilizing advanced word processing software functions in applying program rules to processing of legal documents to include court reporting, tort claims and investigation boards.
Responsible for providing information including exporting and inserting graphs into narrative text as well as identifying and resolving program duplications.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Telework: Ad-hoc as permitted by facility policy

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 10/17/2023.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement. For a GS-6 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-05. The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.***Award 50's do not provide sufficient information and will not be accepted for the purpose of verifying time-in-grade.
You may qualify based on your experience as described below:
Specialized experience includes but not limited to:
Preparing and reviewing correspondence for proper spelling, grammar and punctuation.
Establishing new employee records for timekeeping and computer access.
Creating, organizing and maintaining a record management system.
Coordinating and scheduling meetings.
Experience inventorying equipment and ordering office supplies.

Physical Requirements: Work is in a adequately lighted, heated, and ventilated area. The work environment involves everyday risks or discomforts that require normal safety precautions typical of such places as offices, mail distribution centers, telecommunication centers, meeting and training rooms, libraries, or motor vehicles.
