Duties
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: The office of the Chief Data Officer (for NGA) is seeking a persuasive and motivational program analyst to support NGA's Data Programs and Operations. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communications across NGA's multiple offices as well as the greater Intelligence Community and DoD. He/she will have a mastery of qualitative and quantitative research skills, to analyze and implement methodologies to evaluate the efficiency and efficacy of NGA data programs and operations. The incumbent will possess strong collaboration and outreach skills to strengthen relationships with existing partners and identify and market NGA Data Products and solution sot new partners, enabling NGA Data Program growth. Specific duties include:* Communicating with stakeholders and conducting research to develop an understanding of relevant mission, program, and operational requirements.* Identifying areas for improvement and researching potential efficiencies to agency programs and operations.* Conducting analysis, preparing reports, and briefing leadership and partners in consultation with stakeholders to communicate findings.* Monitoring, evaluating, forecasting, and reporting progress toward achieving organizational goals and objectives.* Analyzing documents, records, and processes to determine performance in accordance with procedures and regulations.* Applying knowledge of auditing standards to determine compliance with regulations.* Examining documents and processes to determine performance against procedures and regulations* Developing performance metrics, monitors organizational performance, and identifies potential organizational performance issuesAdditional Application Requirement: You may be asked to complete one or more assessments in addition to the application you submit on this website as part of your application to NGA. Qualifications
MANDATORY QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: For this particular job, applicants must meet all competencies reflected under the Mandatory Qualification Criteria to include education (if required). Online resumes must demonstrate qualification by providing specific examples and associated results, in response to the announcement's mandatory criteria specified in this vacancy announcement: 1. Prior experience performing qualitative analysis evaluating efficiency/efficacy of a program.2. Prior experience providing customer service & enabling customer loyalty/retention.3. Prior experience developing teammate/client trust via timely follow-up, accurate follow-through, and consistent resolution.4. Prior experience monitoring and developing day to day operations for consistent functional execution, while proposing/implementing innovative strategies for service improvements.EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: A. Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Business Finance, Contracting, Economics, Finance, Law, Public Administration, Public Policy, or a related field. -OR- B. Combination of Education and Experience: A minimum of 24 semester (36 quarter) hours of coursework in any area listed in option A, plus experience in the application of quantitative and qualitative analysis methods to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and organizations, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this position. As a rule, every 30 semester hours of coursework is equivalent to one year of experience. Candidates must show their combination of education and experience totals 4 years. -OR- C. Experience: A minimum of 4 years of experience in the performance of qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and organizations, or a related area that demonstrates the ability to successfully perform the duties associated with this work.DESIRABLE QUALIFICATION CRITERIA: In addition to the mandatory qualifications, experience in the following is desired: 1. Prior experience with customer service/sales, describing available options and recommending solutions.2. Prior experience/knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.3. Knowledge of best practices for finance/financial management and regulations.4. Prior experience networking, building new relationships.
