The Program Manager will serve as a front line manager of the Radar Technical Program Support Team (AJW-L910), within the FAA Logistics Center, and will be responsible for providing direct supervision to subordinate employees and for the technical and administrative aspects of the assigned program area.
Duties
The Program Manager will lead, manage, and oversee multiple high-visibility service level agreements and engineering support provided to and by the Radar Product Group of the FAA Logistics Center. Coordinate with internal peer managers and external customers on the establishment, allocation and utilization of resources to support their project(s) and program(s). Oversee, lead, and provide direction for the development, preparation, and maintenance of project and program deliverables utilizing advanced project management concepts and competencies. Apply advanced knowledge of the technical aspects of the work directed, advanced knowledge of budget and human resource management, other administrative policies and procedures, and an advanced understanding of the objectives of the major subdivision.

Specialized experienceis experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled.Specialized Experience: includes managing or providing oversight to an organizational segment responsible for simultaneous oversight of multiple high level programs; experience working with appropriations law as it pertains to government funding regulations; experience with direct oversight of interagency agreements (IAA) and multiple high-level customer agreements in support of agency and external customer programs.ANDQUALITY RANKING FACTOR:Quality Ranking Factor (QRF): It was determined that well-qualified applicants will have experience demonstrated in their resume with three of the five below.1) Demonstrated Experience in Technical and Service Oriented Program and Project Management in a Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Environment2) Program Management experience related to cost, schedule and performance which may be documented by possession of a project management certification (e.g. CAPM, PMP, PgMP, PMI-SP, PM-RMP) or project/program management certifications through other federal agencies (eg. FAA P/PM, FAC P/PM, DAWIA)3) Experience collaborating with other and leading teams who have achieved documented, quantifiable and significant improvements in customer funded programs through service level agreements (service orders) within franchise fund environment and government appropriation law.4) Experience with and applied knowledge of the application of logistics and supply chain concepts5) Experience in developing acquisition documents related to system sustainment.
