This position is located in the Management Directorate, Office of Chief Information Officer, Transformation Delivery Division.
As a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist, you will you will supervise subordinate specialists and provide expertise regarding technical support and financial, logistical and acquisition operations within the Office of Information Technology.
Duties
Provides leadership and expertise with projects and project teams that implement IT industry best practices to ensure project outcomes provide effective and efficient value for stakeholders.
Supervise subordinate IT Specialist in the planning, execution, and oversight of project and product management technology acquisitions and the implementation of multiple information technology projects.
Provides clear and convincing written and oral presentations to USCIS management that communicates the vision and road map for digital products and services, as well as intended technical and business outcomes.
Provides leadership and expertise in analyzing and using customer insight and system performance data to design and deliver high quality digital capabilities and services that satisfy the agency's highest priority business objectives.
Resolves business and technical integration issues by participating in working groups or governance forums to ensure the organizations interest and needs are represented and considered.
Qualifications
The qualifications for this position must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/16/2023.
Current Federal employees must have served 52 weeks at the lower grade or equivalent grade band in the Federal service. The Time-in-Grade requirement must be met by 11:59 PM (Eastern Time) on 10/16/2023.
Basic Requirements: All applicants must meet the following basic requirements. For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below.

GS-15: You qualify at the GS-15 level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience, which is equivalent to at least the GS-14 level in the federal government, that equipped you with the skills needed to successfully perform the duties of the position. You must have experience performing the following duties:
Leading successful design, delivery and ongoing management of high quality digital services; that maximize opportunities offered by automation, digital technologies and business process reengineering.
Providing analysis, advice, and consultation to business executive and managers regarding effective IT solutions delivery and management.
Implementing acquisition technology products, services, software, or technical support at scale across complex organizations with multiple facilities.
Developing policies, procedures, and operational practices for digital servicedesign and delivery.
