This position is located in the Chief Information Officer Organization (CIOO), Infrastructure Operations Services Branch, Customer Technology Services Section of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and provides support in the areas of assessment management.
The duty location is determined upon selection.

Duties
Serves as a senior expert and program coordinator responsible for the effectiveness and efficiency of FDIC’s hardware and software asset management program operations. Evaluations take into consideration factors such as overall life-cycle management of assets, including the accuracy of data, total cost of ownership, compliance and accountability.
Qualifications
Qualifying experience may be obtained in the private or public sector. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic, religious/spiritual; community; student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. To qualify, applicants must have completed at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the CG/GS-14 grade level or above in the Federal service. Specialized experience is experience managing and coordinating an IT program, including oversight of Asset Management practices, processes, tools and automation; addressing issues and tracking industry trends and best practices in order to recommend program or process improvements; and developing and managing reports and dashboards in support of IT asset life cycle management.
