This position is part of the Office of the Chief of Staff. A successful candidate in this position will serve as Management Analyst. The incumbent will initiate, lead, and conduct studies of administrative or management policies and/or program requirements encompassing many different and unrelated business processes, practices, disciplines, or functional specialties.

Qualifications
A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower NNSA pay band or GS grade level in the Federal Service i.e., NQ-02 or GS-12. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:(Must possess a minimum of 2 of the 4 below).
1. Experience with qualitative and quantitative methods to plan and conduct research.
2. Experience planning, organizing, and performing assessments, reviews, or studies.
3.Experience negotiating with management to accept and implement recommendations.
4. Experience analyzing procedures, processes, policies, or systems to determine accomplishment of goals and objectives.
Examples of Qualified Experience that May Be Qualifying:
Examples of Specialized Experience:
1. Experience providing expert consultation, guidance and/or coordination on complex procurement and administration issues
2. Experience providing assistance and addressing automation questions and requirements related to the development of contractual instruments in the contract writing systems.
3. Experience applying the knowledge of objectives, principles, and procedures surrounding procurement automation systems. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience.
Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
CTAP/ICTAP candidates: To be considered "well qualified" you must meet all of the requirements as described in this section. If you are eligible for career transition assistance plans such as ICTAP or CTAP, you must meet the definition of "well qualified" which is defined as having a score of 85 or better.

There is no education requirement for this position and education cannot be substituted for experience.
For the NQ-03, you must have one year of specialized experience which is equivalent to the next lower NNSA Demonstration Project pay band or GS grade in the federal system, i.e., NQ-02 or GS-12 grade level.
