You will serve as a senior management specialist at the GG-14 performing non-standard tasks to develop, analyze, evaluate, advise on, or enhance the effectiveness of organizational structures and procedures by recommending utilization of money, manpower and material resources. This position is located in the OFFICE OF MARITIME ENGAGEMENT.
Duties
You will prepare new or modified previous management analyses, assessments, or other products by applying expert judgment and ingenuity in interpreting information.
You will apply new theories, developments or procedures to management problems not solved by application of standard guidelines and policies.
You will develop unprecedented approaches, analytical tools and methodologies to analyze situations and draw accurate conclusions.
Requirements

- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of experience at or equivalent to the GG/GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following duties such as:
Identify areas of program risks and drafts and presents proposals to address/mitigate identified risks to best ensure program success;
Apply financial management principles and techniques as they relate to long range planning of programs and objectives to implement policy and payment mechanisms;
Provide training to detachment personnel to ensure compliance with federal laws as well as organizational policy, financial stewardship requirements, expense regulations, and documentation procedures;
