You will serve as a MANAGEMENT ANALYST (COMMUNICATIONS) in the NAVY SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT ACTIVITY. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status.

Duties

You will proactively seek resolution to problems by focusing on improving processes and procedures to ensure both the optimal effectiveness and the positive impact of the communication plan. You will conduct and analyze assessments of workforce and stakeholders concern and perceptions to ensure the effectiveness of the communication strategy. You will coordinate and ensure informational releases to the workforce comply with regulatory guidance and the organization's mission. You will make recommendations to senior leaders for additional topics to further the understanding of the organization. You will draft the final chronology and narrative for the historical document in accordance with regulatory guidelines for senior executives' signatures. You will collect and summarize input from specialized groups’ individuals through surveys, public opinion studies, group meetings and other venues, and prepares reports to management.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience includes duties related to the following: Developing and implementing of the organization's strategic vertical and horizontal communication plan that identifies the target audience, the message, method of delivery, and the desired outcome. Providing substantive information to the workforce through a broad range of communications services, i.e., monthly newsletters, bulletin boards, and advertising of organization events. Setting objectives for and collects informational materials and presentations from the directorates for educating a diverse audience regarding the organization's functions, programs, and initiatives via the Organization Awareness seminars. Compiling and preserving of significant information and activities of the organization. Presenting recommendations to senior leaderships for improvement based on the analysis of suggestion/make a difference box queries.
