Duties

You will receive requests for facilities maintenance and repair work projects and other related services. You will perform cost accounting and work order tracking to support assigned maintenance projects. You will support Emergency Service work by providing dispatching services, including electronically transmitting work orders and updating/closing projects. You will assist in the preparation of reports, spreadsheets, flowcharts, and Power Point presentations relating to trending data (analysis), workload balancing, response standards, and product line metrics. You will monitor all Job Order Numbering and Recurring Packages to ensure they are complete, correct, and funded properly. You will use the entire Microsoft Office suite, various flowcharting programs, status reports, Job Order Crosswalk, BIMS, Job Order Master, etc. You will perform other duties as assigned.

  • You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

Qualifications

Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-6 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Dispatching and distributing maintenance and repair work orders to tradesmen based on the urgency of the work and the availability and skillset of tradesmen; 2) Inputting coding information such as job order number, work center, labor/craft code, failure class and problem codes into a facility management database; and 3) Classifying repair work as routine, urgent or emergency and determining the labor/craft skill set required to perform the work.
