Duties

Serve as the principal planner for Military Deception (MILDEC) activities, Information Advantage (IA) Division for the U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC) Theater Information Advantage Detachment (TIAD). Responsible for monitoring, analyzing and advising current and future trends related to MILDEC Activities. Oversee training, developing and integrating MILDEC capabilities into daily USARPAC operations. Provide MILDEC expertise, and deliberate and crisis action planning support to specific operations for USARPAC. Provide support to the USARPAC G3 on specific MILDEC deliberate and crisis action planning to support Theater Joint Force Land Component Command, Joint Task Forces, other Army component/major commands, and/or USINDOPACOM missions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) security clearance with Special Access Program requirements. Must be eligible for Special Technical Operations (STO) access.
  • This position is designated as Drug Testing Required. Incumbent is subject to random urinalysis testing in accordance with DA guidelines.
  • This position may require the incumbent to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
